Our hillside farm has a grand brick farmhouse and a historic log cabin nestled in the heart of sheep pastures and hay fields. From the porches, patios and decks you can view grazing sheep, the 120-year-old bank barn and sweeping views of the 160-acre property. Rent the entire farmhouse for a family or a group retreat (sleeps 11), one or more of the 3 lockable bedroom/bathroom spaces separately and/or the cozy cabin that sleeps 2 to 4. Relax in this peaceful retreat or take hikes around the farm and pond. A perfect place for birding, star gazing and viewing wildlife. Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch or hike to the hilltop deck to watch the sunset, have a picnic or enjoy a campfire.

We stock the house and cabin with some basic breakfast items including coffee, tea, hot cocoa, juice, milk, granola and muffins. I have a licensed home bakery on the farm and grow a variety of fresh vegetables and fruit. With advance notice, I’m happy to provide a hot breakfast, lunch or dinner, picnic fare, drinks and appetizers, snacks and s’more ingredients for a campfire.

The farm families live in two other homes on the property. We are always happy to greet you when you arrive, give golf cart or walking tours of the property, share tips about dining and exploring the area and help with anything to assure you have an enjoyable stay.

We are located only 10 miles south of Wooster but you will feel like you are in a remote paradise. Wooster has a great restaurant scene, brewery, local food coop, farmer’s market and interesting shops. The Killbuck Marsh is just west and brings excellent birding. Bald eagles, sandhill cranes, waterfowl and song birds abound. If you enjoy biking and hiking the Holmes County Bike Trail is 3.8 miles southeast starting in Fredericksburg. Touring Amish country is easy since we are located just north of the Holmes County line. The closer you get to us the more buggies you will encounter on the road. Make sure to slow down in our neighborhood and keep an eye out, especially after dark, as buggies are not always easy to see.
